一、資格:

1.學歷:國內、外大學園藝相關領域博士學位。

2.學經歷符合本學系、農資院、本校教評會教師聘任標準與相關規定。

二、專長:

1.園藝領域,具有(1)蔬菜栽培生理、遺傳育種專長、

             或(2)果樹栽培生理、植物營養專長、

             或(3)花卉採後處理及生理專長,

             具永續、循環、減碳及實務或研究經驗者尤佳。

2.能擔任本系課程規畫表內園藝相關課程;每學年可開授學士班及研究所至少各1門全英語課程,並可支援系/院國際交流服務。熱心教學,具團隊精神及研究潛力。如為外籍人士,須具中文授課能力。

Full-time Faculty Position in the Department of Horticulture, National Chung Hsing University

I. Qualifications:

Education: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in horticulture or a closely related field from a recognized university, either domestic or international.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the faculty appointment standards and related regulations established by the Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the Faculty Evaluation Committee of the University.

II. Areas of Specialization:

Applicants should have expertise in horticulture, with one of the following specializations:

 (1) Physiology of vegetable cultivation and/or plant breeding and genetics;

 (2) Physiology of fruit tree cultivation and/or plant nutrition;

 (3) Postharvest handling and physiology of floricultural crops.

Experience or research background related to sustainability, circular economy, carbon reduction, or practical application is highly desirable.

Applicants are expected to teach Horticulture-related courses included in the department’s course planning table, with at least one undergraduate course and one graduate course to be conducted in English, and to offer support in the department-wide and college-wide international exchange programs (a presentation in English will be required during the interview). For foreign applicants, the ability to teach in Mandarin is a must, and a presentation in Mandarin will be required during the interview.

Candidates who pass the preliminary review will be invited for an interview and a research presentation. Presentations should be delivered in English; foreign applicants are required to present in Chinese.
